Running the Mini on your RV solar system
The Google Home Mini is a small audio-only virtual assistant. This device uses minimal power and can even be powered by a USB outlet. The operating voltage is 5 volts at 1.8 amps. But if you use a wall plug to produce the USB power, you have to consider the overhead of this “Wall Wart”. Since you will leave these units running all the time, the smaller the load the better, so try to run directly on a battery-operated USB port.
You will also need to consider full-time internet devices as well when operating this unit as it requires access to the Internet.
